Business Management Daily reports that in a world of texts, tweets, cube farms, and Casual Fridays, manners may have gone the way of the dodo. An AP/Ipsos poll indicates that 69 percent of respondents find people ruder than a generation ago. But, as BMD suggests, rudeness isn’t just bad form – it’s bad business.
I think there’s a lot of truth in the adage “people buy from people they like.” Life is too short; most people would prefer not to deal with rude, nasty people. On the positive side, no wardrobe malfunctions have been reported recently at accounting firms.
